We’re used to thinking of confidence as something we either have or don’t – a mysterious gift the fortunate are born with. But confidence is not magic. It’s closer to learning a language, or mastering an instrument: a set of techniques, practised over time, that change the way we move through the world.
Confidence grows when we know how to speak back to self-doubt, when we can act even while afraid, and when we’ve learnt to recover with dignity from our mistakes. It is not the absence of fear, but the decision to keep going despite it.
The Confidence Workbook is a guide to this practice. Through thoughtful exercises and reflective prompts, it helps us understand where our insecurities began and how to replace them with a quieter, more enduring trust in ourselves.
