Fred, co-founder of Tortuga, here. I just got back from Vietnam, where James (our designer) and I spent a week at our factory finishing up new products and updates.
Working in person is like a time machine. We got three months of work done in a week. No shipping samples back and forth. No confusing notes. Just sitting down together, making decisions, and turning around samples on the spot.
Here’s what we’ve got cooking:
- A brand-new Superlite Collection coming to Kickstarter this summer—the lightest, strongest travel backpack we’ve ever made
- The Daily Carry Pro Slim—a slimmer, more EDC-friendly version of the Daily Carry Pro with a horizontal luggage handle pass-through
- Updated zipper pulls, new colors, and revamped packing cubes
