Designed for learners with no prior experience, AWS AI & ML Scholars (powered by AWS Skill Builder) helps you take a meaningful first step toward building foundational AI skills.

Funded by AWS and delivered in collaboration with Udacity, the program aims to empower up to 100,000 learners globally to build foundational, career-relevant AI/ML and Agentic AI skills.
|
|
|
You’ll begin with the Challenge Phase, based on the AWS Certified AI Practitioner learning plan, where you’ll gain hands-on exposure to real AWS tools.
|
|
|
The top 4,500 learners, based on their assessment performance, will advance to a fully funded Udacity Nanodegree scholarship, designed to prepare you for specialized, AWS-aligned AI career pathways.
|
|
|
Begin with the AWS Artificial Intelligence Practitioner Learning Plan to develop essential, career-relevant skills in AI/ML and Agentic AI. Throughout the Challenge Phase, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to real AWS tools such as AWS PartyRock, while learning core concepts, practical AI applications, and responsible AI principles.

The top 4,500 learners, based on their assessment performance, will be selected for a fully funded Udacity Nanodegree program in one of three career-aligned tracks: Future AWS AI Programmer, Future AWS Agentic AI Business Professional, or Future AWS Agent Developer. Each track includes hands-on, portfolio-ready projects designed to prepare you for real-world AI roles.

Learners who complete the Challenge Phase will receive three months of AWS Skill Builder access, allowing them to further strengthen their AWS and AI knowledge and continue building practical skills beyond the core program experience.

At the Nanodegree stage, you’ll choose from one of the following tracks:

|
|
|
No prior AI or ML experience required. Applicants must be 18 or older, and the program is open to learners worldwide.
