Today is "Small Business Saturday" and we are a very small (3-person) business. Every year I like to spotlight some of my favorite small brands to shop from. As you get into gift buying mode, consider supporting some of these small businesses. Your dollars have a direct impact to keep us little guys going.

- Columbus Cartography β Really cool copperplate maps that are hand-etched and printed on custom made paper.
- Sour House β If you know anyone into sourdough, the Goldie is a game changer.

- KM Tools β Quality-made woodworking tools designed by Jonathan Katz-Moses.
- Freewrite β Distraction-free writing devices. If you know someone who wants to get serious about writing, this is an awesome gift.
- Magic Puzzle Company β The best jigsaw puzzles. I have a dozen of these and they are so fun. The magic trick at the end will blow your mind.
- J. Stark β Beautifully-crafted bags and accessories built to last a lifetime. I've been carrying their Prospect Briefcase for 5+ years.
- Quoddy β Leather shoes handcrafted in Maine. I've been wearing these for over a decade and are still my favorite.
- Manual β Homewares that celebrate living slow, run by my friend Craighton in Chicago.
- Slimfold β Super slim, durable wallets designed by my friend Dave in California.
- La Cabra Coffee β My favorite coffee roaster. Based in Denmark and they also now have locations in NYC. Every coffee from them is exceptional!
