Rise and shine... the summer solstice is upon us! Well, for us in the Northern Hemisphere anyway. On Saturday 21 June at 03.42 BST (02.42 GMT), to be precise. Stonehenge in England was built to align with the sun on the solstices. On the summer solstice, the sun rises behind the Heel Stone and its first rays shine into the heart of Stonehenge. Whether it bears spiritual significance for you, or simply represents the height of sunshine vibes, today we're celebrating all things summer.
