This one's all about the power of working together.
I'll be honest, when I think about bringing people together, my version usually involves a pub and a few rounds. But even in that setting, something real happens. Relationships form, conversations flow, and ideas start to spark. That connection doesn't stop being valuable when you're back at your desk.
We all love a bit of solo flow. There's something satisfying about running with your own ideas. But imagine taking that same idea and throwing it into a room with people you trust, people who think differently to you, people who aren't afraid to say "what if we did it like this instead?" That's where good becomes great.
For me, it starts with culture. Creating an environment where people feel comfortable enough to open up, share half-baked ideas, and build on each other's thinking. Human-centred, no ego, collaborative by default.
This week's Email Weekly is full of food for thought on exactly that. And if you need proof that collaboration really does make the work better. Flic Email sat down with our team to dig into the BBC Studios campaign we created together. Three organisations, one story, and a hidden dinosaur or two.
