Hey Team,
Change is uncomfortable. Any disruption to your daily routine requires some rewiring of the brain. Though change, as uncomfortable as it may be, has an upside, and often promotes growth.
Last month we changed something major- the way our global community trains. When we say this has been a development overdue for years- we mean it. BodySpace was an app used for building your own workouts and tracking progress for nearly 15 years. BodyFit was born in 2020 with the intention to provide higher quality programming with video guided features. Though both never truly lived up to the standards of our valued members, and we heard about it often.
“When are you going to consistently add new workouts?”
“When will I be able to sync my wearables?”
“How can I get real time health metric tracking?”
“Are you going to modernize ANY of this, EVER?!”
We heard, we listened, and we acted. The BBCOM app that exists today does all of this, and more. And while the road was a bit bumpy with existing users being thrust into our beta version for the first few weeks, we’re proud of the builds that have developed along with the positive feedback that’s now starting to roll in. Let me be clear- the work isn’t done. All of you have helped shape our roadmap with your feedback, and all of it has been collected and passed to our development team. We’ll continue to put you, the customer, first, to ensure we provide you with a product that helps you achieve your health and fitness goals.
Since the debut of the newest app experience, 265 million pounds have been lifted. That’s equivalent to 26,500 elephants, 17,667 space stations, 588 Statues of Liberty and 268 Boeing 747s. In summary- you've lifted a sh*t ton of weight in less than a month.
Stay tuned for the release of version 5.0.5 coming this week for both Apple and Android users. It’ll feature new workout state tracking, an added “My Journal” feature, new workout settings, and new “Follower/Following” settings within profiles. Working out is one piece of the puzzle. Finding and connecting with a community that holds the same priorities is the secret to success.

Until next time. 👋
