- Uncertainty: It’s that voice in your head asking, “Am I doing the right thing? What if I make a mistake? What if I’m not good enough?” This self-doubt paralyzes us. Instead of taking action, we overthink, waiting for some kind of guarantee or perfect moment that never comes. The result? We stay frozen, stuck in place.
- Overwhelm: On the other side of the spectrum, there’s the endless flood of tasks, to-do lists, and responsibilities. Overwhelm is the feeling of constantly reacting to life’s demands, always scrambling to catch up, yet never finding the time to focus on what truly matters. With so much noise in our lives, how can we hear our own voice, our own needs?
This is how we get stuck—not because we’re lazy or unmotivated, but because noise drowns out what’s truly important. It clouds our judgment, scatters our attention, and leaves us exhausted from trying to keep up.
The noise you hear, like static from an old radio, is drowning out a clear signal. That noise, that static, is a sign telling you you're stuck in a system that isn’t working. No matter how much effort you put in, you'll keep getting the same frustrating results—like spinning your wheels.
Most of us think the solution is more action, when really, the solution is more alignment. Just like with an old radio, you don’t fix the noise by turning up the volume—you fix it by finding the right signal.
You have to get clear on your values, your purpose, and the story you want to live. When the noise fades and the right signal comes through, your actions finally start leading you somewhere meaningful.
It’s only when we get clear on our purpose and the story we wish we were living that our actions can start to lead us somewhere different, somewhere important.
In the next email, I’ll talk to you about a new method that’s already helped hundreds of people stop spinning their wheels and start moving toward a life that feels purposeful, intentional, and in alignment with who they truly are.
We’re just getting started.
Best,
Ryder
P.S. Sometimes, the only way to truly notice the Noise is to step away from it.
Take a moment today to go somewhere that brings you calm—a quiet park bench, your favorite chair by the window, or a trail in the woods. Breathe deeply and let your mind settle. It’s in these small quiet pauses that you can start to recognize just how much the Noise has been filling your mind.
