When communities don’t have access to clean water, the consequences are dire. Without this basic resource, people face life-threatening diseases and lose precious time. The water crisis forms deep cracks that run into the future, upending families and crushing plans. Walking for miles to fetch unsafe water is a devastating story that unfolds every day. | Together, we can write a new chapter. | As you read this, lives are being transformed by clean water projects that are underway thanks to supporters like you. Since June 16, our generous community has funded an estimated 13 clean water projects, but we still have nine more projects to fund by June 30. Once implemented, these projects will help people to stay healthy, save time, and embrace opportunities. | We can finish funding one whole project (or more!) today, but we need your help to get us there. | If 200 people donate just $50 today, then we’ll be able to fund an entire water project for a community. charity: water operates on a biannual grant cycle. Our first fundraising round of the year wraps up on June 30. In July, funds raised from January through June will be sent to our local partners to bring clean water to communities. We’re pushing on so that an estimated 22 more clean water projects can unfold.
