From more natural ways to update timelines and edit images, to automations that allow you to set ’em and forget ’em, here are a set of features to help you create without constraint and build powerful workflows.
Mile after mile(stone).
It’s a heck of a lot easier to motivate when you can see the finish line approaching. Keep your team chugging forward by adding milestones—launch dates, phase completions, or any moment of significance—right into your timelines. If your target shifts (as they’re wont to do), just drag the diamond-shaped milestone marker, and the date will change accordingly.
Time after time(line).
While we’re on the subject of project timelines, we’ve got another helpful update to highlight: quick-add dependencies. Instead of setting dependencies from your base table (we hear you—that felt a little clunky), you can simply click and drag to indicate linked tasks right from the timeline itself. Cleaner ways to update your trackers and timelines means more time for you to focus on the important stuff...like keeping your project on track!
Small things considered.
Picture this.
When you insert an image into the canvas, you’ll see a handy toolbar—you can crop, add a caption, and edit the image outline (three of the most frequently-utilized image features). We’re deleting Photoshop.
Good form.
With just the tick of a box, you can opt to have a copy of your form submission emailed to you. And you can say goodbye to trying to remember whether or not you filled out that questionnaire already.
Where was I?
The comment box will expand when you’re writing a long comment, so you’ll never lose your place and can review your thoughts at a glance.
Automation station:
Add explanatory descriptions to automations to remind yourself of their function and help your collaborators understand how they work.
When you only want an automation to run for a certain period, you can set it to expire after 7 days, 30 days, or on a specific date.
Open, close, open, close.
Expand and collapse groups in your tables without affecting your collaborators’ views of the data.
Big shoes cells to fill.
Coda AI is great at recognizing patterns in your data and, starting this week, it can autofill your columns with a simple click and drag.
Eight days a week.
Sometimes schedules change. For those times, you can now set custom working days—which interact with the NetWorkingDays() and Workday() formulas—in your region settings.
