Last year, there was a string of suspicious deaths in Kyoto. The only common thread between the victims? They were all lawyers. Official records state that this series of incidents had nothing to do with Clone of the Kingdom. Did we incidentally benefit from the entire city being devoid of lawyers? Sure, but that certainly wasn't by design. Now, hypothetically, let's say that these unfortunate "accidents" had, in fact, been organized by an invisible puppeteer. Given that it takes between five and seven years to earn a law degree in Japan, Kyoto continues to suffer a record shortage of lawyers. As for the mysterious entity that, hypothetically, made all the lawyers vanish: surely they could take advantage of such a situation - not that we'd ever do anything like that. Incidentally, we've got some very expensive assassination contract debts that are coming due alarmingly soon. Bringing Clone of the Kingdom back from the vault might be just what we need to balance the books.
