Hello, This release opens Postcards email builder up to the rest of your stack. Four things landed this month: the new API, the new MCP for AI tools, Gmail Promotions support, and Email Client Preview for testing on real devices. Details below. - Postcards API. Connect apps, CRMs, CMSs, marketing automations, and internal tools to Postcards. List projects, inspect folders, check usage, and export emails as HTML or ZIP with CDN assets, minification, and template variables. API getting-started guide.
- Postcards MCP. Plug Postcards into Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT, or custom clients. Browse projects and folders, check export quota, and export ready-to-use HTML using natural-language requests. MCP getting-started guide.
- Gmail Promotions support. Built for ecommerce senders. Add product images, deal badges, discount codes, and expiration dates to your campaign metadata, and Gmail surfaces them as rich annotations in the Promotions tab, so your offer stands out before anyone even opens the email. - Email Client Preview. Test your templates on real devices and real email clients, right from the Preview screen. Check how your email renders in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Yahoo across iPhone, Android, iPad, browser-based email, and desktop apps, no more guessing or exporting to find out. All updates are now live inside your Postcards editor. What you can build with APIs and MCP A few practical ways teams are already using the new API and MCP: - Auto-export campaigns from your CRM or CMS. Pull the latest project from Postcards, export it as HTML, and push it straight into your sender or internal system.
- Sync your team's email library. List projects and folders programmatically, mirror them into an internal dashboard, and keep tabs on export quota without leaving your admin tools.
- Build emails through natural language. With MCP connected, ask Claude or ChatGPT to find a template, export it as HTML, and hand back ready-to-paste code, no clicking through the editor required.
- Wire Postcards into your automations. Trigger exports whenever a new product launches, a campaign is approved, or a CMS entry goes live.
- Make your sales pop in Gmail. If you sell online, add Promotions metadata to a campaign once, discount code, product image, expiration date, and Gmail can show it as a rich preview before the email is opened. Great for store-wide sales, launches, and seasonal offers.

Looking Ahead If this release was about connecting Postcards to AI tools from the outside, the next one brings AI inside Postcards email builder itself. We're working on a new way to build emails by simply describing what you want. Need a Black Friday announcement, a product update, or a welcome flow? Type it in, and Postcards generates a working template you can refine from there. The same approach applies to templates you already have. Open any project, ours or your own, and ask AI to shorten a section, swap the hero, rewrite the CTA, or restyle the whole layout. The classic no-code editor isn't going anywhere.
