This week we introduced Gemini 2.5, our most intelligent AI model. Gemini 2.5 models are thinking models, capable of reasoning through their thoughts before responding, so they can handle more complex problems and support even more capable, context-aware agents.
Our first 2.5 release is Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental, our most advanced model for complex tasks. State-of-the-art across a range of math and science benchmarks, 2.5 Pro is available in Google AI Studio and in the Gemini app for Gemini Advanced users now, and coming soon to Vertex AI.

Deep Research — our tool in Gemini that explores complex topics for you and delivers its findings in a comprehensive, detailed report — is now available for anyone to try, at no cost. To get you started, we spoke with two Googlers who work on Gemini to get their best tricks for using Deep Research. For example, you can turn the report Deep Research creates into an Audio Overview, so you can listen to a podcast-style discussion of a given topic while you’re on the go.
