This week, we rolled out Gemini 2.5 Pro (experimental) to all Gemini users — it's our most intelligent AI model yet and state of the art across many industry benchmarks. Gemini 2.5 models are thinking models, capable of reasoning through their thoughts before responding, resulting in enhanced performance and improved accuracy. That means they can handle more complex problems and tasks. Plus, all Gemini app users are now also able to access features like Canvas, a new interactive space within Gemini designed for creating, refining and sharing work. |

In 2023, Googler Thomas Wagner’s son Max was diagnosed with Alexander disease (AxD) — a rare, and fatal, neurodegenerative disease for which there is no known treatment or cure. This week, Thomas shared how the diagnosis turned his family’s world upside down. It also pushed him to find answers, including using technology to understand what was happening to his son and encourage new research on the disease and possible treatments. |
