Watches and Wonders, the watch industry’s biggest trade show by many magnitudes, keeps getting bigger. A total of 66 brands unveiled hundreds of new timepieces at the 2026 edition of the show, which means that trying to sift through the deluge to find the very best stuff is a task a California prospector wouldn’t envy. Luckily, there is plenty of gold in these hills. Here, British GQ’s Mike Christensen and I play metal detector, identifying the year’s best and most exciting new releases. —Cam Wolf
