Work All the Time. Disco, Occasionally |
By now, you’ve seen what the starry attendees of the 2026 Met Gala wore on the red carpet: Jeremy Pope’s beefy archival Vivienne Westwood evening jacket, The Rock’s seven-figure timepiece, and Bad Bunny’s octogenarian cosplay, to name a few. But what about the magazine staffers—like, say, yours truly—who were keeping tabs on all the night’s goings-on? We heard they wore some pretty killer fits, too.
Here at GQ HQ, fashion’s biggest night means working the night shift—so, between covering the red carpet and hosting The GQ Party at The Twenty Two, our ensembles needed to stand up to marathon blogging sessions and an after-party that went into the wee hours of the morning. From sharp tuxedos to bejeweled pajamas and on-theme dresses, here’s what GQ staffers wore to work on the first Monday of May.
