John here.
I hope you're looking forward to a great weekend, I know I am. Tonight, I have a date with Danielle. I’ll be wearing my Down Syndrome Superhero Socks because they make me feel confident.
Tomorrow, Special Olympic soccer starts up again. I can’t wait to get back on the field with my teammates. We’ve been busy at John’s Crazy Socks. It’s Autism Awareness Month and we just announced the winners of our Autism Can Do Scholarship. You can read about the winners here.
Easter is coming! People love putting our socks in their Easter baskets, so we made special Easter gift bags. My Mom makes baskets every year and hides them so we have to find them. Did you see the video I made with my Mom? She is so beautiful.
We have visitors every day at our warehouse store, and I love meeting customers. If you’re near Farmingdale, stop in and say hi.
Next week, my dad and I are flying to Portland, Oregon. We’ll be giving the keynote speech at the DisabilityNext Summit hosted by Relay Resources. We’re also visiting GiGi’s Playhouse in Portland. It’s going to be awesome.
I’m so grateful for your support. When you buy our socks, you help us employ people with differing abilities. You help us give back. And most of all, you help us spread happiness.
Thanks for being part of our community.
John
