John here. I’ve been busy with Special Olymics. On Tuesday night, I had track practice and last night, I had basketball practice. What’s really cool is that my brother Jamie is one of the coaches on both nights.
You know I love socks, that’s what I started John’s Crazy Socks. We made or own athletic socks and that’s what I wear to all my Special Olympic practices. They are so comfortable and they make me look good. I’m not sure if they make me faster, but maybe.
Last week, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day and we opened our warehouse store. Next week, April starts and that’s Autism Awareness Month. Many of my friends and colleagues have autism and we will celebrate them. On Wednesday, we will announce the winners of our Autism Can Do Scholarship.
Tomorrow, I am going with my Mom and Dad for Holy Cross Cares Day. They went to Holy Cross and every April, the Holy Cross alumni spend a day doing good in the community. We are going to the Veteran’s Hospital in Northport to work in the gardens.
I hope you have a great weekend.
