TON 618 is a supermassive black hole so huge, it's devouring galaxies and glowing with the light of a hundred trillion stars. It's visible from 18 billion light-years away and has a mass of 66 billion suns.
To put this into perspective, to fall into TON 618, you'd first need to cross its event horizon: a boundary so large it could fit 11 solar systems side by side.
Once you passed the edge, light would take a full week just to reach the center. It may very well be the largest single body in the universe. But in reality, it is probably even larger.
