From midnight feeds to dad jokes that somehow land—yeah, we see you. This Father’s Day, we raised a spoon to the real MVPs: the dads showing up every day, in every way.
To celebrate, we hit the streets of Brooklyn with 50 stroller-pushing dads. There were bubbles. There was a ball pit. There were Little Spoon pouches (including a first taste of our new Babyblends+ 👀). But mostly? There was connection—the kind that’s still too rare for dads, especially the new ones just figuring it all out.

This event was the latest meetup from Brooklyn Stroll Club, founded in October 2024 by Joe Gonzales, who, like so many dads, realized early fatherhood can be weirdly lonely. What began as a TikTok and day in the park with his son turned into a Discord channel, a calendar of events and a group of men who actually text each other about nap schedules and emotional regulation.
But Brooklyn Stroll Club isn’t just about snackin’ and strollin’. Parents bonding over their kids’ sneakers, toddlers climb into ball pits and color while their dads sip cold brew. There’s no schedule, no stage, no panel discussion. Just real talk from the real ones going through it, whether it’s their first or third time.

“Something that no one told me about being a dad was how much of a reflection it would be of you. You really have to get introspective on how you talk, how you respond, how you encourage your kid because those things matter. Parenting holds a mirror up to who you are and who you're becoming for your child.” — Joe Gonzales, Founder of Brooklyn Stroll Club |
This Father’s Day, Let’s Go Deeper |
We teamed up with The Skin Deep to make something simple but powerful—a card deck designed to help families talk. Really talk.
These aren’t just prompts. They’re little openings. For belly laughs, surprising stories, and the kind of connection that lingers long after the cards are put away. We watched it unfold with a few of our own Little Spoon families—like Uncle Bob and his four-year-old niece, Teagan—and it reminded us: sometimes all it takes is a good question, and a little time to answer it.
This limited-edition deck is made for families in all their forms—grandparents and grandkids, moms and daughters, uncles and nieces—designed to spark real conversations across generations.
Got a parenting curveball, feeding question or just something you need to vent about? We’ve been there. Join our Digital Community and drop your questions! We may just answer yours in our next newsletter.
Until then, Happy Father’s Day from the Little Spoon team. 💙
