💬 Your Questions, Answered 💬 |
Q: How do I adjust my child’s sleep schedule with Daylight Savings? |
A: It totally depends on their age, but remember that it’s okay to leave your baby in the crib for a little longer in the morning if they are content when they wake up. Starting the day later is helpful during this time to help shift their circadian rhythm, advises Camila Martelo, Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Is This Normal Expert.
Q: What to do if your kids never sleep in their own beds for the night? |
A: Create more boundaries and consistency. Kids are built to test limits and it’s our job as caregivers to be setting those boundaries. If this impacts others in the house, it might be time for new rules and ensure you stick to them, advises Dr. Natalie Barnett, VP of Clinical Research at Nanit. |
