🔥Parenting Tip of the Week🔥 |

“While bedtime battles can be frustrating for parents, having empathy for your child’s normal development and using positive discipline tools can help restore peace at night. Establishing a predictable routine, giving your child some age-appropriate independence, using visuals, planning for stalling tactics, and maintaining kind but firm boundaries are all effective strategies.”

💬 Your Questions, Answered 💬 |
|
|
Q: How can I best protect my kids from the sun this summer? |
A: For littles under 6 months, their skin is ultra-sensitive to sun exposure and ingredients in sunscreen, so shield them from the sun with hats, sunglasses, and sun-protective clothing. For kiddos older than 6 months, decide whether chemical or mineral sunscreens are better for your littles, and make sure to reapply every two hours. Do your best to avoid playing outside when the UV index is at its peak from 10 AM to 2PM. |
Q: We’re going on a road trip! How do I keep my kids entertained on the drive? |
A: Try downloading some family friendly playlists or podcasts to hold everyone's attention. Older kids can have fun with invisible ink coloring books or word searches, and your younger ones can enjoy sticker activity pads or something more sensory like PopIts. When in doubt, bring plenty of snacks. |
