| This week: Itineraries for every place you want to go | | | Take these trips, please!
| If we had a dollar for every time we’re asked about where to go and what to do we’d be so rich that we’d no longer have to write newsletters! So when my brilliant colleague Alex Butler decided to take on the challenge of editing a new collection of itineraries from our top local writers in our most-searched destinations, I was like: JACKPOT!
Whether you’re thinking about going to Sri Lanka or Spain, Ireland or Italy, we’ve got some great starter trips for you to consider. The best bit? These aren’t meant to be followed to the letter – our hope is that they give you just enough information so you can confidently plan the trip that works for you, depending on how much time you have and what kinds of things you like to do.
So choose your next adventure. That’s pretty much all we do around here. | Senior Director of Content | | | Four destinations, multiple itineraries
| | | | | Making plans for Portugal
| Take a roadtrip. Catch a monster wave. Drink all the port in Porto. Portugal packs an outsize punch with all it has to offer. You may not be able to pack it all in, but you can try. | | | | Mix French charm with West Indian joie de vivre, and you get Martinique, a delightful island in the Lesser Antilles. Here, rugged volcanic landscapes give way to lush rainforests, soaring peaks and postcard-perfect beaches. | | | | Photography by: John Crux Photography/Getty Images, Matt Munro for Lonely Planet, Pattanasak Suksri, Rintaro Kanemoto for Lonely Planet, iStockphoto/Getty Images, William Toti, Fikander82/Getty Images | This email was sent to you by: Lonely Planet Publications Ltd. | 1101 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 | | | |
