Best lists. They're everywhere you look, and it's hard to parse whose best list is the best. Our best lists are practically perfect because we actually have expert human people on the ground doing the things that we later report are the best. We do not Google “What are the best places to eat in Mexico City?” put it in the beep boop beep AI machine and hit publish. We message our peeps in CDMX and ask, “¿Dónde están los mejores lugares para comer en México?”
Case in point: We asked our San Francisco-based contributor Margot Seeto (who, I kid you not, is the dumpling columnist for SFGATE) for her recommendations for San Francisco's top places to eat, and boy did she deliver.
Then there’s this week's article about where to find the best coffee in New York City. After moving to NYC last year, our own Executive Vice President and coffee aficionado, Catie Kelly, challenged herself to taste 100 cups of coffee to get to know her new hometown and share her coffee notes. The results are in.
