Paper Collective welcomes the colourful creations of US based photographer Xuebing Du. Her first collection explores her ability to transform natural landscapes and man-made objects into abstract compositions that celebrate colour, light and shadow.
”This collection of four images explores the intersection of natural and artificial elements, inviting viewers to see familiar landscapes and objects from a new perspective. By altering the color palette and isolating each subject, I aim to create a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere that blurs the line between reality and imagination.”
Xuebing Du (b. 1990) is a San Francisco Bay Area-based photographer originally from China, whose work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Fondation Clément in Martinique, Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm, and Fotografiska Tallinn, along with numerous exhibitions across the United States, Europe, and China.
