Hey everybody,
For today’s email, I want to talk about caring for your Popper. It’s made of premium materials, so it’s built to last, but like any stainless steel pot you still need to give it TLC.
You can just load the Popsmith into the dishwasher most times and be set. But what if there’s hardened sugar from kettle corn? Or worse, you see something that looks like rust on your brand new Popper.
What then?
For sugar and similar gunk, we recommend soaking the Popper in hot soapy water to loosen the residue, scrubbing with a scouring pad or brush after, rinsing the pot, then drying with a paper towel.
If your problem is the latter, don’t worry. That’s not rust — it’s discoloration that happens when you use too high a heat.
Cleaning with a non-abrasive non-chlorine cleanser like Bar Keepers Friend, Bon Ami, or OxiClean (and some elbow grease) will make your Popper sparkling again. Check out this blog post for details on how to use each of these.
That’s all I have for you now. But let me know if you have other questions or concerns! I’m all ears. :)
Pop on,
