A fashion show is a little like a movie, at a fraction of the runtime. The clothes take center stage—or runway, if you prefer—like an ensemble cast of movie stars, supported by an even bigger invisible network of labor; artists, technicians, DJs, publicists, list havers, clipboard holders, earpiece wearers, and… us. Body care is a supporting player in this production, but an important one, given the relationship between clothes and the bodies that wear them. Just like fittings must occur, and Anna’s gotta sit front row, limbs have to be moisturized before they walk out. We’re always excited to be a part of things. Here’s what we got down to this year.
