Back on deck after a nice little break and a jaunt to NZ. Found a load of really, really great wine. We are working on adding a lot of them to the collection soon! Keep your eyes peeled for that. But we will let you know. For sure.
We call him
Daddy C around the office but you probably know
his wines as some of the most recognisable from the slopes of that famous Sicilian volcano. A
rare couple of bottles of each of the single site crus - serious, layered stuff. There’s also
this red and this
skin-contact white that are at least 1 bottle per year non-negotiables for me. Oh and the most cult of them all,
this one...you know it. Explosively good.
When it comes to white wine styles this one has got to be up there with the most popular - but what does
Light & Racy actually mean? Think zingy, zippy, mouth-watering. Light on the palette and easy to swill. My current picks are
this and definitely
this one, if you want something a little more fancy. Start your engines.
Looking for a
few bottles that you won’t hesitate to rip open during the week? We got you -
all these hit the mark for value and most importantly, quality. We’ve tried
‘em all, and they’ve all earnt the Sometimes Always big tick.
Add to cart.
I've always been a Muscadet guy when it comes to a dozen shucked but I could be converted to
this gear. Not all PX is created equal and
this one hits it for 6. Crisp, sizzling and lickity-lip-smacking goodness.
Special mention goes to the Rhino,
this bottle was one of the most memorable over the break for me. Tropical fruits, light florals, a little spice and a perfect mineral edge. Expressive and impressive.
Oh, and a few new bottles in the
Pick’n’Mix options too, for the $99 pack lovers.
Go on.
