Hope you had a lovely week. As always, I’m going to
Wrap-Up this week’s best happenings for your 60 second reading pleasure.
This producer was blessed to learn the art from one of the greatest to ever come out of the Adelaide Hills. The wines get better year after year and if you haven't tried them before, they are well worth a go. They always get the
‘cute labels’ comment, fair, but the juice is damn good too.
This is singin’ and
this is a very unique expression of the variety. Stands apart.
We do go on about
this region a lot, but it's deserved, their wines are easy to love and you all can never get enough of them. Interestingly, their climate and geography is quite similar to South Australia’s, so we are seeing an ever growing increase of their
indigenous varieties finding a home and thriving here. Hot tip?
This one from the island or
this one from closer to home. Can’t go wrong!
A
crossbreed between a Portuguese variety and the humble Aussie Sultana? It’s a thing, and was developed specifically to withstand the most driest, hottest climate we can throw at it. It's the first bottle we have ever had featuring this
Frankenstein fruit. Just so happens that it makes a really zingy, fresh, fridge red too.
You be the judge, but I think it’s got something ace going on! Marvellous creation.
Once you get a taste for
a little sweetness in your
Riesling, it’s hard to go back, especially when there's something spicy on the table in front of you. Thai, yep, Indian, yep. Anything that gets the tongue tingling needs this in the mix too. It’s from Germany, very balanced, better than good. It's great.
Kopp one.
