The 2026 Festival Is Heating Up with Premieres and Beyond Film |
Big love to all the game-changing artists whose films premiered for sold-out audiences during the first day of the Fest! We’re keeping the party going on day two with more debuts, including premieres of The Moment, Josephine, American Doctor, Filipiñana, Public Access, and I Want Your Sex. Wifi is available at every theater, but we suggest you print or take a screenshot of your ticket as a backup in case cell service is slow due to
the number of attendees.
Many films are sold out due to high demand, but seats may open up! Jump on our app to join the waitlist starting two hours before a screening. And be sure to check our site each morning for new ticket drops. Beginning January 29, a curated collection of titles will also be available to view online, including our incredible Short Film Program presented by Ketel One Vodka. Watch with a Short Film
Pass: Online.
Today also marks the start of our Beyond Film series, held mostly at the Filmmaker Lodge on Main Street. Meet the Artist: Leviticus |
When two teenage boys in a small Australian town start to explore their attraction for one another, they become haunted by a horrific evil when they’re forced into a ritual by their parents to rid them of their desires. Premiering in the Midnight section, Leviticus is written and directed by Adrian Chiarella. In our Meet the Artist series presented by Acura, Chiarella discusses wanting to explore how early experiences with

Carousel, Bait, and The Incomer: Day 1 Kicked the Fest off Right! |
The first day of the Fest got off to an epic start as cinephiles filled theaters, immersing themselves in sold-out premieres and Q&As with notable artists like Chris Pine (Carousel), Riz Ahmed (Bait), Domhnall Gleeson (The Incomer), and Lou Diamond Phillips (American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez). Pine praised Carousel writer-director Rachel Lambert’s script for “its delicacy and its intimacy” when the film debuted at Eccles Theatre. And Ahmed revealed how he shaped the tone of his series, saying, “If it’s messy and honest and a little bit scary to share, you’re probably on the right track.”
Visit our Highlights page for all the details on these day one debuts, plus we bring you inside the world premieres of The Lake, Hanging by a Wire
, Everybody To Kenmure Street, The History of Concrete, The Last First: Winter K2
, Short Film Program 1, and the screening on Tuner. Check back daily for more film and event features.
