In this morning’s Cinema Café presented by Audible, Broken English directors Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard will be joined by pioneering electronic artist and The Incomer executive producer, Moby, to discuss their portrait of iconic singer-songwriter Marianne Faithfull and more.

Meet the Artist: Birds of War |
Premiering in the World Cinema Documentary Competition, journalist Janay Boulos and activist Abd Alkader Habak make their first appearance at the Fest with Birds of War, the story of how they fell in love amid the Syrian civil war. Watch as Boulos and Habak discuss

The first two days of the Fest saw artists like Charli xcx, Channing Tatum, and Keegan-Michael Key, as we brought you inside the premieres of The Moment, Josephine, Buddy, Paralyzed By Hope: The Maria Bamford Story, Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty!, THE DISCIPLE, The Huntress (La Cazadora), LADY, The Oldest Person in the World, TheyDream, Closure, The Screener, One In A Million, Hot Water, and the Documentary Short Film Program.
As night fell on day two, Celebrating Sundance Institute: A Tribute to Founder Robert Redford was an emotional and uplifting reunion for Festival and Labs alums from across the years. Speeches from Ethan Hawke, Taika Watiti, Tessa Thompson, and Ava Duvernay highlighted the impact of our artistic community, while setting the stage for the night's honorees: Nia DaCosta, Geeta Gandbhir, Chloé Zhao, Ed Harris, and Gyula Gazag.
