After a police raid on a small-town newspaper ends in tragedy, a national debate erupts over press freedom and power in Seized, which premiered in the U.S. Documentary Competition section. In our Meet the Artist series presented by Acura, watch as director Sharon
Liese discusses how her film explores the “stranger than fiction events” leading to the raid, the tensions between a community and its local newspaper, and more. This film is sold out in person, but still available online.
