Here’s what happened in 2023
|
Not that we’re getting sentimental as the year ends or anything, but 2023 has been a big one for us, and we’re pretty proud tbh 😎
There’s been global good stuff with new Hoxs joining the fam, local good stuff with revamped restaurants dialling up the flavour, take-home good stuff with Hoxton’s very own paint range (for real!). We also joined a game-changing new travel and food membership, Dis-loyalty, and even branched out into the mountain slopes of Morzine.
Read on for a rundown of some of the fun and games you might have missed. Stay tuned for 2024 bringing more goodies and Hoxton firsts…

Not one, not two, but THREE new Hoxs touched down in Europe this year.
Our Brutalist Brussels abode opened in May and ticks alllll the boxes: food, art, culture, botanical gardens on our doorstep.
Next, we headed to uber-cool Berlin: we adore the chic Charlottenburg neighbourhood. Elegant yet freewheeling? We like to think we fit right in.
We couldn’t resist a second spin round the Dam: meet Lloyd Amsterdam, our new digs in the Eastern Docklands – still close to the action, but with chill waterfront vibes.
And Dis-loyalty members booked their stays at new hotels with 50% off in their first three months of opening. It’s just one of the many ways it pays to be Dis-loyal.

What’s cookin’ good lookin’

Food is a big deal at Hox – whether you’re with us for work, or play, you’ve gotta have good eats, right? This year brought gorgeous fresh restaurants to three of our pads.
In Rome we opened the doors to Elio: a delicious, quintessentially Italian experience with Negroni fountains. Meanwhile, Shoreditch and LA welcomed big hitters from different cities; critics’ darling Llama Inn trekked from New York, bringing elevated Peruvian fare to our East London roof. And in the City of Angels, we lured top chef Chris Pandel to Moonlark’s Dinette – full-on Americana fun.

Sure, we’re about that first-rate eating, sleeping and drinking, but this year we branched out in all directions...
It pays to go green with The Good Rate – travel by train between Hoxs and you’ll bag money off your stay. Good eh?
2023 also saw the launch of our very own limewash paint. The Hoxton x Bauwerk is a natural paint collection inspired by some of our global city neighbourhoods.
And don’t forget our first run at Hox Chalet; a celebration of hot tubs, mountain fun and après-ski life. It was so good that we're heading back in January. It's been snowing a LOT and there are limited spots left, so run, don't walk.
