This Kenyan coffee is made even sweeter and brighter thanks to a combination of anaerobic fermentation and natural drying, giving us notes of lime, red currant, and ripe mango flavors.
Fun fact: This lot comes from a fly crop, or a smaller, off-season harvest. This was an intentional experiment to elevate shoulder-season coffees with more careful picking and processing, and potentially stretch the fresh Kenya season for farmers. And it was a huge success—the result is a coffee that’s more intensely fruity than most Kenyas, regardless of the season.
