Our collaboration with Nerds Candy is a prime example—helping them reclaim relevance and skyrocketing their revenue to over $500M annually. One of our key contributions? Concepting Nerds Gummy Clusters, a new product that rapidly became a bestseller.
In 2017 we partnered with Nestlé as they prepared to sell their sweets division. Our job was to show potential investors the potential of Nerds. And a major part of our assignment was to imagine and design an entire pipeline of product innovation concepts that connected to culture. Some ideas we brought forward included Nerds streetwear, bottled fizz pop, cereal, ice cream, and most notably—Nerds Gummies— better known today as Nerds Gummy Clusters, the top-tier candy among Gen Z.
