Today in Brooklyn, the sun sets at 5:18 pm EST. Golden hour technically starts an hour before that—but every hour is golden hour in Solid Gold.
Featuring more than 500 works, the exhibition has been declared an “auric extravaganza” (Artnet). Gold-ground paintings and sculptures, coins, and other treasures sparkle alongside jewelry by Alexander Calder, Belperron, Cartier, Charles Loloma, Jacob & Co, and Verdura—as well as grillz by Gabby Elan and fashion by Anna Sui, Christian Dior, The Blonds, Yves Saint Laurent, and many more.
Be dazzled.
