Did you know that tomorrow is National Say Something Nice Day?
Here are a few kind things people have said about the Brooklyn Museum’s current slate of exhibitions:
- Nona Faustine: White Shoes has been praised as “striking” (New York Times).
- Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys was hailed as “groundbreaking” (NBC Nightly News).
- Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm was deemed a “must-see” (Time Out New York).
The exhibitions have been getting a lot of love from visitors too. On Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo (feat. Takashi Murakami): “So stunning!!! People need to go see it!!” On Giants: “I’m flying from Miami to experience this!” On Eyes of the Storm: “This was amazing!! I’m so glad I was able to share this with my daughter.”
Thank you all for sharing your stories, heart emojis, and time with the Museum. In the spirit of National Say Something Nice Day: You are loved! You’re a vital part of our community! You look good—and you’d look even better in the galleries. 😏
