When you think of gold, what comes to mind?
Across centuries and continents, this shimmering element has inspired art, fashion, film, music, and design. As a material and a color, gold has symbolized beauty, honor, joy, ritual, spirituality, success, and so much more.
In addition to showcasing gold-ground paintings and sculptures, this exhibition celebrates the fashion world’s embrace of gold through designs by Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, jewelry by Alexander Calder and Cartier, and grillz by Gabby Elan.
Featuring more than 400 stunning works, Solid Gold is an exploration of the many odysseys of the metal that has influenced cultures worldwide.
Tickets to this special exhibition are $25—but Membership starts at $39. This means that for just $14 more, you can join a community of art lovers, get invitations to Member previews and exclusive viewing hours, and secure your spot to see Solid Gold today.
