This month, we’ve shared the story of the conflict our local partners and communities faced in Tigray, Ethiopia from 2020 to 2022. Roads were blocked, supplies were scarce, and entire communities lost access to water.
When it became impossible to build new water projects, charity: water and our partners redirected active programming toward restoring water access for the communities who needed it most. Even in uncertainty — and at personal risk — our partners stepped up to keep clean water flowing.
