International Women’s Day is a day where we celebrate all of the achievements that women have made throughout history and rally behind that. In honor of International Women’s Day, we want to show off the badass women of GORUCK who take on our events, and open up registration to our legendary Badass Babes events.

Badass Babes is back and we’re headed to San Diego, California this year. “I make it a priority to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. GORUCK events always hit the mark. By throwing on a ruck or weight vest for an endurance event or getting my ass handed to me by a GORUCK Cadre, with a group of like-minded people wanting to dig deep and see what we are all truly capable of. It is always an experience I will never forget.”

“I love fitness and camaraderie, and GORUCK events support both of those things, so I continue to do them because they are challenging, uncomfortable, and they are out of my normal workout routine. I KEEP doing events because they are unlike any other fitness events. You have to perform as a team, or suffer as a team. Do well as a team, get rewarded as a team (hair ties, thanks Dan). I love being a part of all things GORUCK.”
- Tiffany S.
“This is a photo from my first (and hopefully last) HTL aka a back to back to back event that consisted of a Heavy (24 hours) + Tough (12 hours) + Light (6 hours). My friend and I joke that our alter egos sign us up for things that our real selves would never agree to. And yet, no matter how bad of an idea it may be, I participate in GORUCK events so I can do hard things with my friends. As you can see on our faces, it’s pure misery all the time and I’m definitely not having the time of my life. :)”
- Emily M.
“I like challenging myself with events because it makes the rest of life easier. When you’re mentally tough, you can push through absolutely anything. Doing events also gives me something to train for and sometimes I need that extra motivation. Plus, my kids think it’s 'badass,' which just makes me smile. My daughter is watching, and frankly, this world isn’t always very kind to women, so giving her a tough role model that’s also feminine is very important to me.”
