“Sleep helps reset our mood. It comes as no surprise that lack of sufficient sleep can contribute to mood swings, irritability, heightened stress levels, increased risk for depression, anxiety and more. That’s why prioritizing maternal sleep is a fundamental component of promoting mental health during the transformative journey of motherhood."

💬 Your Questions, Answered 💬 |
|
|
Q: Am I setting my kids up for failure if they expect dessert every night? |
A: Definitely not, although it’s okay to say no sometimes. Bedtime snacks are really great when it comes to sweets and including them in rotation and allowing the kids to decide how much to eat. Check our Little Spoon advisor, Dr. Taylor Arnold’s strategy, here. |
Q: How many teeth should my baby having before introducing cut up meats like chicken and steak? |
A: Our Little Spoon advisor and Registered Dietitian, Stephanie Middleberg actually says they don’t need teeth at all. While it sounds scary, meat like beef stew or meatloaf is soft and tender and should be okay. The key is for the meat to be most and easily squishable using your thumb and index finger to test. |
