Palma, the artsy capital of Mallorca, shares some vibes with Barcelona and Seville, but is uniquely its own. In the evenings, there’s nothing I enjoy more than sitting at an outdoor bar, usually on a wooden stool or an upturned milk crate under fairy lights, drinking vermouth and finishing up my fresh seafood pintxos (tapas), while figuring out how to find the closest late-night speakeasy.
Then there are the mountains with tiny villages that feel deliciously stuck in the past, almost like hidden secrets, with chiming church bells and squares that spark with chatter in the late afternoon as families gather to swap stories until dusk. The coastline boasts stunning beaches, with butterscotch-colored sand and pine-sprinkled coves. Then you have the rugged interior that looks like a film set, dotted with olive groves, vineyards and farm stays.
It’s so easy to fall in love with every side of Mallorca. But where to start? Let me guide you with my perfect seven-day itinerary.
