Hey friends,
Today I want to share a couple of tips for using the Popsmith on an induction range.
First, no two induction burners are the same. They come in all shapes, sizes, and most importantly, power ratings. I recommend starting at a medium temperature to find the heat setting that works for you.
Another thing I like to do is to get a few kernels popping first, add the remaining kernels and seasoning next, drop the heat down a notch, and start cranking away.
Remember: induction stoves heat up FAST. The Popsmith’s multi-clad metal bottom also holds heat well, so remove it from the range after popping slows and immediately pour your popcorn into a bowl to prevent burning. Then let steam escape for a few minutes and enjoy your freshly popped corn. 🤤
Like making kettle corn, using induction can involve some trial and error so if your first attempt is a miss, don’t be afraid to experiment again!
