Hey everybody,
How often do you make popcorn? Once a week? Maybe more? 👀
If you’re hooked on your Popsmith and want to keep enjoying popcorn without (much) guilt, I’ve got a couple of things to share.
First is that our popcorn is much healthier than microwave popcorn. You won’t find any mystery ingredients in either of our kits. We get our non-GMO kernels from small family farms in Iowa and Missouri and only use all-natural ingredients.
But if you want to cut down on calories or sodium, you can use half the amount of salt and oil and save them for another time. Or pop a whole batch, pour yourself a small bowl, and keep the rest of your popcorn in a ziplock bag or airtight container.
You can also use your own ingredients and make healthy popcorn recipes that don’t scrimp on flavor (like nutritional yeast and smoked paprika — yum). That’s one of the many neat things about the stovetop method: you have control over portions and what goes in your snack.
Want healthy popcorn ideas? Check out this blog post. And if you’re running low on popcorn, you know what to do! Stock up on Oh Sooo Buttery and Classic Kettle Popcorn now.
That’s all for this week! Have a good weekend, friends. 🙂
Pop on,
