Hey friends,
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get tired of eating the same old protein bars after a workout.
When that happens, I like to pop a batch of popcorn on my Popsmith and top it with nutritional yeast and a dash of sea salt.
Another thing I do is make a trail mix — popcorn with dark chocolate pieces, nuts, and pretzels for the perfect balance of sweet and salty.
And when I want a low-calorie, high-protein snack, I just dust some vanilla protein powder over my popcorn (though any flavor works!).
I’m sharing these ideas to show you that while popcorn is most popularly associated with movie night, it can also be a healthy post-workout treat. At its core, it’s a whole grain and therefore gives you enough fiber to satisfy but not weigh you down.
Now these are just some starting points — popcorn is perfect for experimenting and the Popper makes it easy to bring your creations to life! I hope you have fun discovering new flavor combinations.
Pop on,
