Hey folks,
National Popcorn Day is this Sunday, and to celebrate, I wanted to share some creative popping tips from our amazing community.
Looking to add a nice depth of flavor to your popcorn? Take a page out of Marci’s book and brown a bit of butter in the Popmsith before adding oil and kernels.
Another thing you can do is try popping with beef tallow instead of regular oil. One of our Instagram followers (@growtoguy) swears by it.
And if you're craving something sweet, John's hack is pure genius. Start with a packet of kettle corn, add the coconut oil and kernels, then pour in 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup right after the first kernels pop. Follow the rest of the popping instructions and voila, you get maple caramel corn!
As for me, I’m currently loving cheesy dill popcorn — I just pop a batch of Oh Sooo Buttery Popcorn and toss it with grated parmesan and dried dill. Try it, it’s simple but satisfying.
That’s it from me this week. I hope you all have a great weekend and make plenty of popcorn. Let me know if there are any flavor combinations we need to try!
Pop on,
