Introducing Glaze
Glaze
is our take on creating desktop apps by chatting
with AI. Apps that look, feel, and run like they belong on your Mac!
If youโve been following Raycast for a while,
youโre well aware of our obsession with desktop
apps. The team has spent six years building it,
and itโs now regarded as one of the best apps
out there.
Glaze encapsulates everything weโve learned
about desktop apps, so you can build your own
without even knowing how to code.

We didn't know what to expect from this
campaign, but it's safe to say the response
has exceeded our expectations. Thank you so
much. Invites start rolling out next week!
Itโs a new era for personal software, and I
canโt wait to see the things youโll build with
it.
Raycast for Windows
Windows received so many updates this month.
Weโre steadily bringing up to feature parity
with the Mac version, which is no easy
feat!
Raycast Notes, my personal favourite way to
take notes, is now available on Windows! I
highly recommend setting a hotkey for it. Maybe
something like Win + N?
This month, we also released:

Calculator History:
Every calculation and conversion you perform
in Raycast is now saved and searchable. Pin
your favorites and keep track of time-zones,
currencies, or calculations.

Search Screenshots:
Search Screenshots lets you find any
screenshot or screen recording instantly.
You can even search them by the text they
contain!

Script Commands:
They allow you to run your frequently used
scripts in a few keystrokes, or bind them to
a shortcut.

Networking Indexing:
You can now index network and removable
volumes for File Search.

Raycast for iOS
The iOS team have also been busy with some
really good updates. The app now supports
multiple chats running in the background, at the
same time. So happy about this one!
We also shipped โdisposable chatsโ, really nice
for those one-off questions. You can now also
import Quicklinks, Snippets, AI Commands &
Presets directly from ray.so.
And finally, we put a lot of effort into
stability and bug fixes. Take a look at the full changelog here.

so I can light up my incenses and candles 333ms
faster. (And because it feels good to
use!).
