Happy Monday. Welcome to April.
Spring is finally showing up, but I've noticed something that happens around this time of year: the sunshine pressure.
When the weather gets nice, there’s an unspoken expectation that we should suddenly feel energized and light. But mental health doesn't always check the weather report. Sometimes the sun is shining outside, but your internal weather is still pretty cloudy.
If you're feeling that contrast—I see you. You don't have to force yourself to bloom just because the calendar flipped. Sometimes you just need to stay planted a little longer, and that's okay.
Take things at your own pace this week. Whether that means getting out in the sun, or keeping the blinds closed with your favorite show and a spoonful of something sweet. Whatever brings you peace.
