The Second Day of the 2025 Festival Marks the Start of Beyond Film! |

We hope you had a blast catching the incredible premieres during Fest’s first day! Here’s what’s happening on day two: Check out today’s premiering films, including Prime Minister, André is an Idiot, Rabbit Trap, Bubble & Squeak, and It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley. Due to high demand, many films may be sold out, but check the website and app to buy any last-minute releases and jump on the waitlist beginning two hours before each screening. Tickets might become available! Plenty of titles will also be online starting January 30, including our amazing short film lineup, available with a Short Films Pass: Online.
Between screenings, stop by the Filmmaker Lodge for our Beyond Film series kick off and catch partner events like Rooted in Solidarity: A Gathering for Collective Action, Black Filmmakers You Should Know!, and Festival Kick Off Party at Acura House of Energy.

Please note: Park City has designated Main Street as pedestrian-only and closed to vehicular traffic during the Sundance Film Festival at noon each day, from Thursday, January 23, through Monday, January 27. The Main Street closure will be from Swede Alley to 7th Street. Learn more on How to Fest.

By Design, Twinless, Omaha: Day 1 of the Fest Set the Tone |
|
Day one was full of thrills as Festgoers packed theaters to catch sold-out screenings and stars like John Lithgow (Jimpa) and directors like Shoshannah Stern (Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore) discuss the Park City premieres. “Trusting me with her story — it has been the biggest honor of my life,” Stern told us of illuminating iconic Deaf actor Matlin’s journey in her documentary.
