Hi,
Yesterday I sent you a message about the new Revitalize product, and I got a lot of emails back from Feed athletes with questions. Here are my answers, as I clearly didn't do a great job answering these questions yesterday.
First, if you missed yesterday's note, Revitalize by SwissRX is an exciting new product that provides us bio-identical human lactoferrin. If you've heard of Colostrum, then Lactoferrin is the key protein in Colostrum. But most colostrum comes from animals—Revitalize is the same as what humans make, not animals.
What gets me excited about Revitalize is that we're using our own biology to make us better athletes (and healthier). We already produce the Lactoferrin protein, and we know it has enormous health benefits—from iron levels to immune support and gut health. Now we can supplement our nutrients with more of it. I like using something our body already makes for good.
Is there a deal on it? (Yes, this was the top question)
Yes. Today I'm giving you 20% cash back in Feed Credit for everyone who wants to try Revitalize.
What's Colostrum and what's Lactoferrin?
Colostrum is essentially the whole milk, and Lactoferrin is a protein—the workhorse of Colostrum. Revitalize is just the Lactoferrin part and is one small capsule you take in the morning.
I'm confused on the whole animal/human thing?
Up until now, most colostrum is from cows or goats. There are two issues: 1) If you're a baby goat or cow, then that's fine, but there's no real data on whether those benefits pass to humans. 2) You may be allergic, or your body may see it as a foreign protein and create antibodies to attack it. Revitalize is NOT from humans (it's engineered in a lab) but is bio-identical to the lactoferrin humans produce.
Why do I even want this?
What I like is that it mimics nature. Lactoferrin is a protein our bodies still make today (studies show that after hard workouts, your levels in your blood serum are often 2x higher). Supplementing with something that your body already uses for immune function, gut health, and potentially even performance benefits (lower lactic acid production) is the best possible strategy for overall benefits.
Isn't it expensive? Actually, compared to the leading colostrums on the market that sell for $159, so $99 for Revitalize is a good deal in comparison—but yes, not cheap. My suggestion is to try it for a month and see how it works for you. I'm also giving everyone 20% Feed Credit today on Revitalize (no code needed).
The final question I got from one athlete is: "If I could only afford one product, what would you recommend?"
In the email on Sunday, I talked about Revitalize, Synthesis, Nitric Oxide Pro, and a few others. He's primarily a cyclist and lives at altitude. I thought about it a bunch and told him that his best bang for his buck was SwissRX Nitric Oxide Pro. He'll see the most immediate performance benefit with that product for his training. For $69, you won't find a cost to performance ratio. If budget wasn't a constrain, then I would say also add Revitalize to try it for a month.
